Semi-Annual Windsor Great Give Away
Windsor residents will be setting out items all FOR FREE at the end of their driveways or lawns. Come find something you may not be able to live without or find some early holiday gifts! The Town has been working for several years with the EPA and VT Dept. of Environmental Conservation on the demolition and clean up of the dry cleaner property on Maple St. A partial demolition of the site is taking place this week. THE CLOSURE OF MAPLE ST. HAS BEEN EXTENDED THROUGH WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 20TH WHILE THE DEMOLITION CREWS WORK CONTINUES.
Enjoy a .2-mile walk around downtown Windsor as you learn about the evolution of its food suppliers, from merchants and general stores to grocers and supermarkets. In addition to the walk, an exhibit and optional wine-reception will be held at the Welcome Center starting at 2:30PM.
